Just how deep does it go, anyway? And how far back?
The files are no longer indexed, but still on disk,
we haven’t written over them yet.
Or with every overwrite we write the same damn thing.

I put a knife in my pocket really because I had eaten with it
and wanted to throw away the paper bag.

You moonlight for the Forest Service, so you needed your axe
but it was much harder to conceal.

And of course making up an ending won’t help.
