William Logan is a poet and critic whose most recent book of poems, Madame X, was published by Penguin in 2012. He is a regular poetry critic for the New York Times Book Review and the New Criterion, and the recipient of the National Book Critics Circle Award for Criticism. He is a professor of English at the University of Florida.
