Lisa Williams

Lisa Williams, originally from Nashville, Tennessee, received her MFA from the University of Virginia in 1996. Her first book, The Hammered Dulcimer (Utah), was published in 1998. More recently, she was awarded the 2004–2005 Rome Prize in Literature by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She is currently an assistant professor of English at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where she is completing a new manuscript, Anatomy of a Skylark.
