Ron Rash

Ron Rash's family has lived in the southern Appalachian Mountains since the 1700's. He has published three books of poetry, two story collections, and a novel. His second novel, Saints at the River, will be published in 2004 by Henry Holt. He holds the John Parris Chair of Appalachian Studies at Western Carolina University.
