Mark Doty

Mark Doty's seventh book of poems, School of the Arts, will be published by HarperCollins in 2005. His poetry and prose have been honored by the National Book Critics Circle Award, the T.S. Eliot Prize, a Whiting Writers’ Award, the PEN/Martha Albrand Award for Nonfiction, and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. He teaches in the graduate writing program at the University of Houston and lives in Houston, New York, and Provincetown.
