Brendan Galvin

Brendan Galvin is the author of thirteen collections of poems, including Place Keepers (2003) and The Strength of a Named Thing (1999), both from LSU, and the narrative poem Hotel Malabar, winner of the Iowa Poetry Prize (Iowa, 1998). His translation of Sophocles’ Women of Trachis appeared in the Penn Greek Drama Series in 1998.
