Alan Heathcock

Alan Heathcock is the author of VOLT, a collection of stories (Graywolf, 2011). The book was named a Publishers Weekly debut to watch for 2011, a New York Times Editors’ Choice, and selected for inclusion in the Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers series. His story, "Peacekeeper," published in the Fall 2005 issue of VQR, won the National Magazine Award for Fiction and was selected for Best American Mystery Stories.
