Dimiter Kenarov

Dimiter Kenarov is a freelance journalist and contributing editor to VQR. His other contributions include essays on Milosevic's Serbia (Summer 2006, co-winner of the Staige D. Blackford Prize for Nonfiction), the Roma in Bulgaria (Summer 2008, selected for the Best American Travel Writing), and the double identity of Radovan Karadzic (Winter 2009). His work has also appeared (is forthcoming) in Boston Review and the Nation. He is currently a PhD candidate in English at the University of California, Berkeley.
