Kevin PruferKevin Prufer is the author of National Anthem (Four Way Books, 2008), Fallen from a Chariot (Carnegie Mellon, 2005), The Finger Bone (Carnegie Mellon, 2002) and Strange Wood, the 1997 winner of The Lena-Miles Wever Todd Poetry Series. He serves as Vice President of the National Book Critics Circle and is also editor of The New Young American Poets (Southern Illinois University, 2000) and, with Joy Katz, Dark Horses: Poets on Overlooked Poems (Illinois, 2006). With Wayne Miller, he is currently editing The New European Poets for Graywolf Press. His poems appear in the 2002, 2004, & 2007 Pushcart Prize anthologies and Best American Poetry 2003, as well as Boston Review, The New Republic, Kenyon Review, and Conduit/ He lives in rural Missouri where he edits Pleiades: A Journal of New Writing. |
