Joel Turnipseed is a regular book reviewer for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and Rain Taxi. His memoir, Baghdad Express, was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection. His writing has appear ed in GQ, Granta, the New York Times Magazine, Salon.com and other publications.
