Erika Abrahamian

Erika Abrahamian was born in Iran on the eve of the 1979 revolution. She grew up in Tehran, where the Iran-Iraq war was the backdrop to her childhood. When she was sixteen she and her family left Iran for the United States. She is the recipient of a Hedgebrook Women Authoring Change Residency, and an MFA from Mills College. She is currently at work on her first novel, The Unsettled Dead.
