Robin Marantz Henig is a science writer whose books include The Monk in the Garden: The Lost and Found Genius of Gregor Mendel (Mariner, 2001). Her ninth book, Twentysomething: Why Do Young Adults Seem Stuck?, is co-authored with her daughter Samantha Henig and is forthcoming from Penguin. She is a contributing writer to the New York Times Magazine.
