Vsevolod Benigsen is the author of four novels, numerous plays, screenplays, and short stories, and has been shortlisted for many major Russian literary prizes, including the Big Book Prize and the NOSE Award. He won the Debut Prize of the Book of the Year Award in 2009. “Glebov Junior” was a finalist for the 2011 Yury Kazakov Prize, Russia’s most prestigious award for the short story.
