Neurocardiology (n.)

ISSUE:  Fall 2022

  1. an investigation of wrecked arterial railroads hammered by foremothers
stationed beneath your breasts and headed

  2. evidence of your grandmothers locking arms to block tracks
guiding maroon freight trains…How could you kill yourselves?

  3. an analysis of the screams and loaded gasps spilling from your mind
when the blood runs late and detours some cars
    a.   a little bit of anything is never enough
    b.   stroking out

  4. a blind spot furnished with answers…stuttering blood flow speaks of why you’re forgetting
like the balloon in your brain knows
why wings are flapping where your heart should beat
