John Casteen

John Casteen, self-employed as a designer and maker of custom furniture, has also worked as a farmhand, canoe guide, and carpenter. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and his poems have appeared in Georgia Review, Iowa Review, Ploughshares, Shenandoah, and Southern Review. His nonfiction has appeared in the Washington Post and Slate.
