John Hoppenthaler is the author of Lives of Water (Carnegie Mellon, 2003) and editor of a collection of essays and interviews on the work of Jean Valentine. His work has appeared in Chelsea, New Letters, Ploughshares, and Southern Review. He is the poetry editor of Kestrel.
