María Jesús Contreras is an illustrator from Chile whose work has appeared in the New York Times, the Atlantic, the New Yorker, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, among others. She is the recipient of the YoungGuns award from the One Club, the AI42 award, and has been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2023.
