Tony Kushner

Tony Kushner’s numerous distinctions include a Pulitzer Prize and two Tony Awards for his two-part, seven-hour Broadway production of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes. The 2003 HBO adaptation won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Made for Television, and Kushner received an Emmy for Outstanding Writing. His other acclaimed plays include Slavs, Homebody/Kabul and Caroline, or Change.
