Juan Manuel Echavarría

Juan Manuel Echavarría published two novels in Colombia before turning from fiction to photography. Since then he has had solo shows of his work in Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Sweden, Uruguay, and at numerous galleries in the United States. His latest show “Bocas de Ceniza” (“Mouths of Ash”) is the subject of a book published by the North Dakota Museum of Art, Grand Forks, and will be on exhibit at the Santa Fe Art Institute in New Mexico from December 1–18.
