Liesl Schillinger

Liesl Schillinger is a New York-based critic, columnist, moderator, and translator. Her articles and essays have appeared in the New York Times, the New Yorker, the New Republic, the Washington Post, the Daily Beast, and Matter. She is the author of the book of neologisms Wordbirds (Simon and Schuster, 2013), and the translator of The Lady of the Camellias (Penguin Classics, 2013) and Every Day, Every Hour (Viking, 2012).
