Sacha Marvin

Biography

Sacha Marvin is a writer, performer, and urban designer from southeastern Virginia. A Cave Canem fellow, Marvin’s work can be found in The Adroit Journal, Split this Rock’s The Quarry, and EcoTheo Review, among other venues. Marvin has been a finalist or semifinalist for prizes for poetry and screenwriting at The Georgia Review, Indiana Review, Frontier Poetry, and the Richmond International Film Festival.

& this is what we mean when we say body count. first, a swaddling. then, betwixt damp & ordinary gums hangs a mess hall. we offer a martyr to the blowtorch’s bright kelvin spit and call it supper. an autopsy worth its salt.
