Yuki Murayama
Biography
Yuki Murayama is an illustrator based in Kyoto, Japan. His style is defined by hand-drawn lines, painterly textures, and a distinctly tactile quality that pushes back against the flatness of digital art. Influenced by Riso prints and 1980s Japanese cartoons, his work uses grainy textures and limited palettes to create visuals that feel deeply human. His work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, CNN, Bloomberg, and other venues. He has won awards from Communication Arts and American Illustration.
