Amitava Kumar

Amitava Kumar is the author of several books of nonfiction and two novels. His novel Immigrant, Montana (Knopf, 2018) was named one of the best books of the year by the New Yorker. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, Harper’s, the Guardian, the Nation, and Granta, among other places. He was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship in 2016 and recently joined the board at Yaddo.
