Andrew Kornylak

Andrew Kornylak grew up in Ohio and spent many an hour chin-to-knee, catching crawdads or hunting fossils on the banks of Four Mile Creek that ran along the family farm. A climber of twenty years, Kornylak was first drawn to photography though his vertical adventures on bigger rocks. He now runs a production company, Four Mile Media, from Atlanta, where he lives with his wife and three children. His work has appeared in Garden & Gun, National Geographic Adventure, Outside, Businessweek, and other publications.

Even with the challenge of below normal rainfall, spring turned out to be a beautiful time of year at Charlane Plantation. While the drought continues, the good news is that we have had rain at critical times, which for the most part has kept the woods green and beautiful—and the wildlife happy and healthy.
