Jess Ruliffson

Jess Ruliffson is the author of the forthcoming book Where Eden Once Stood (Fantagraphics, 2019). Her work has appeared in the Gainesville Sun, the Nib, BuzzFeed, the Boston Globe, Wilson Quarterly, and Pantheon Books. Her comic I Trained to Fight the Enemy was shortlisted for Slate’s 2017 Cartoonist Studio Prize. She teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and the Sequential Artists Workshop in Gainesville, FL.

Dr. Thomas A. Andrew served as New Hampshire's Chief Medical Examiner for two decades, retiring in September 2017 amid the growing opioid crisis. Now he's studying to become an ordained deacon in extension ministry to help at-risk youth on the Appalachian Trail.
