JooHee Yoon

JooHee Yoon contributes regularly to publications such as the New York Times and the New Yorker, in addition to working on books, advertising, and various other projects. She has taught illustration and printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design, along with giving talks, workshops, and exhibiting original pieces both in the US and abroad. Her latest picture book, Up Down Inside Out (Enchanted Lion, 2019), is forthcoming.

Edward Lear (1812-1888) was an English writer, painter, and lyricist. He is most well-known for his "nonsense verse" and for popularizing the format of the limerick. These pages include some of his poems that feature an assortment of peculiar folk, collected by illustrator JooHee Yoon.
