Karen Heuler

I won an O. Henry award in 1998 for the story that VQR published, so it’s always a pleasure to be associated with them. I’ve published about 30 stories as well as a collection called “The Other Door” (which the New York Times called “haunting and quirky”). I’ve also had stories in anthologies, and I’m looking forward to the publication this spring of “The Soft Room.” Published by Livingston Press, this will technically be my first published novel although it was the fourth novel I wrote.
