Kseniya Melnik

Kseniya Melnik was born in Magadan, Russia (former Soviet Union), and emigrated to Alaska in 1998 at the age of fifteen. She received her MFA from New York University in 2010 and has taught creative writing there as an adjunct professor. Her other stories have appeared in The Prospect (UK) and Granta, as one of the magazine’s New Voices.
