Mac Barnett is the author of more than forty books for children, including several picture books illustrated by Jon Klassen: Extra Yarn (Balzer + Bray, 2012); Sam & Dave Dig a Hole (Candlewick, 2014); The Wolf, the Duck, and the Mouse (Candlewick, 2017); and the Shapes series. Their collaborations have won several prizes, including two Caldecott Honors, three E. B. White Read-Aloud Awards, the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award, the Chen Bochui International Children’s Literature Award in China, and the Premio Orbil in Italy.
