Mary Emma Koles

Biography

Mary Emma Koles won the Gerald Stern Poetry Prize in 2009 and the Mississippi Review Poetry Prize in 2012. Her poems have been published in Mississippi Review and The Dirty Napkin. She directs writing centers in the Washington, DC, metro area and holds a M.F.A. from American University.
