Naomi Natale

Naomi Natale is the founding artist behind One Million Bones, a large-scale social arts practice that uses education and art-making to raise awareness of atrocities. She will lead the installation of 1,000,000 artwork bones on the National Mall in Washington, DC, in spring 2013. She has received numerous awards, including a 2009 TED Global Fellowship. She has served as an artist-in-residence at Columbia College of Chicago in 2008, 2010, and 2011.
