A J Bermudez is the author of Stories No One Hopes Are About Them, winner of the 2022 Iowa Short Fiction Award. She’s a recipient of the Page Award, the Diverse Voices Award, and the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize. Her writing has received support from the Banff Centre, the Bethany Arts Community, and the Nawat Fes Residency in Morocco, and she currently serves as a Senior Teaching Fellow in Fiction at Boston University.
